SafeView Classic is non-carcinogenic by the Ames-test. The results are negative in both the mouse marrow chromophilous erythrocyte micronucleus and mouse spermary spermatocyte chromosomal aberration tests. SafeView Classic is used the same way as EtBr in agarose gel electrophoresis.
