The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells. It is specifically expressed in the periderm, the transiently superficial layer that envelopes the developing epidermis. The type I cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"100μL","offer_id":57661299130708,"sku":"ABM205129","price":205.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50μL","offer_id":57661299163476,"sku":"ABM205130","price":141.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-40a52efaf870f4243332b81a1cc9d779b63f978daa1f9ec109b70cdb68611ac5.jpg?v=1792159150","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/fr\/products\/abm205129","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
