The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells. It is specifically expressed in the periderm, the transiently superficial layer that envelopes the developing epidermis. The type I cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"50ul","offer_id":57661394288980,"sku":"ABM199327","price":115.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"100ul","offer_id":57661394321748,"sku":"ABM199328","price":192.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-b608e3ccf72eed08bc65ab390ea85e0fdae688e1015d951c4af012fbd8c62010.jpg?v=1792158981","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/fr\/products\/abm199327","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
