The E2F family plays a crucial role in the control of cell cycle and action of tumor suppressor proteins and is also a target of the transforming proteins of small DNA tumor viruses. The E2F proteins contain several evolutionally conserved domains found in most members of the family. These domains include a DNA binding domain, a dimerization domain which determines interaction with the differentiation regulated transcription factor proteins (DP), a transactivation domain enriched in acidic amino acids, and a tumor suppressor protein association domain which is embedded within the transactivation domain. This protein and another 2 members, E2F2 and E2F3, have an additional cyclin binding domain. This protein binds preferentially to retinoblastoma protein pRB in a cell-cycle dependent manner. It can mediate both cell proliferation and p53-dependent\/independent apoptosis.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"100μL","offer_id":57660857680212,"sku":"ABM205395","price":205.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50μL","offer_id":57660857712980,"sku":"ABM205396","price":141.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-0e7d1cb8553144ee0d5f1e616f306ec5c95bff12f44aa7b0a00193ffbe7e58fe.jpg?v=1792159123","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/es\/products\/abm205395","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
