The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells. It is specifically expressed in the periderm, the transiently superficial layer that envelopes the developing epidermis. The type I cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"50ul","offer_id":57661392290132,"sku":"ABM199325","price":115.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"100ul","offer_id":57661392322900,"sku":"ABM199326","price":192.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-14e4b534490bde37c9b8d1210ccddd9f8b62d95093dc7a38d71912a434c720b8.jpg?v=1792158981","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/es\/products\/abm199325","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
