Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. This gene encodes a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This enzyme is closely related to a stimulator of iron transport (SFT), and is up-regulated in hereditary hemochromatosis. It also functions in the ubiquitination of the tumor-suppressor protein p53 and the hypoxia-inducible transcription factor HIF1alpha by interacting with the E1 ubiquitin-activating enzyme and the E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"20ul","offer_id":57661142335828,"sku":"ABM196904","price":69.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50ul","offer_id":57661142368596,"sku":"ABM196905","price":115.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"100ul","offer_id":57661142401364,"sku":"ABM196906","price":176.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-77ce5c8b8e19bc7490be8cdc6297e308b81c237e6fa0ad3d4f3f5b07bef9c797.jpg?v=1792159038","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/es\/products\/abm196904","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
