LIM domains are highly conserved cysteine-rich structures containing 2 zinc fingers. Although zinc fingers usually function by binding to DNA or RNA, the LIM motif probably mediates protein-protein interactions. LIM kinase-1 and LIM kinase-2 belong to a small subfamily with a unique combination of 2 N-terminal LIM motifs and a C-terminal protein kinase domain. LIMK1 is a serine\/threonine kinase that regulates actin polymerization via phosphorylation and inactivation of the actin binding factor cofilin. This protein is ubiquitously expressed during development and plays a role in many cellular processes associated with cytoskeletal structure. This protein also stimulates axon growth and may play a role in brain development. LIMK1 hemizygosity is implicated in the impaired visuospatial constructive cog\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"20ul","offer_id":57661433708884,"sku":"ABM184090","price":69.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50ul","offer_id":57661433741652,"sku":"ABM184091","price":115.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"100ul","offer_id":57661433774420,"sku":"ABM184092","price":176.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-3c18ffd2287efe3cd52e0795f8390ed9058378265b63e529cb46ade04f625a6c.jpg?v=1792158971","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/es\/products\/abm184090","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
