These enzymes belong to two distinct subclasses| one of which utilizes NAD(+) as the electron acceptor and the other NADP(+). Five isocitrate dehydrogenases have been reported: three NAD(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases| which localize to the mitochondrial matrix| and two NADP(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases| one of which is mitochondrial and the other predominantly cytosolic. Each NADP(+)-dependent isozyme is a homodimer. The protein encoded by this gene is the NADP(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase found in the mitochondria. It plays a role in intermediary metabolism and energy production. This protein may tightly associate or interact with the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"100ul","offer_id":57659925528916,"sku":"ABM177235","price":176.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50ul","offer_id":57659925561684,"sku":"ABM177236","price":115.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"20ul","offer_id":57659925594452,"sku":"ABM177237","price":69.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-1ea4c7287cbfdf5088445786c5a5187a69f59f2a2d1db38ede993084a9fd9773.jpg?v=1792241051","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/es\/products\/abm177235","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
