Na+\/K+ -ATPase is an integral membrane protein responsible for establishing and maintaining the electrochemical gradients of Na and K ions across the plasma membrane. These gradients are essential for osmoregulation, for sodium-coupled transport of a variety of organic and inorganic molecules, and for electrical excitability of nerve and muscle. This enzyme is composed of two subunits, a large catalytic subunit (alpha) and a smaller glycoprotein subunit (beta). The beta subunit regulates, through assembly of alpha\/beta heterodimers, the number of sodium pumps transported to the plasma membrane. The glycoprotein subunit of Na+\/K+ -ATPase is encoded by multiple genes. This gene encodes a beta 3 subunit. This gene encodes a beta 3 subunit. A pseudogene exists for this gene, and it is located on chromosome 2.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"100μL","offer_id":57660953919828,"sku":"ABM203825","price":205.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50μL","offer_id":57660953952596,"sku":"ABM203826","price":141.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-8c000ae62c6d83f6057455b85ed008e6a71381ca8812f73666a414e0a54bc339.jpg?v=1792159107","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/de\/products\/abm203825","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
